I Am a Worshipper

Worship is what we place our focus on. It occupies our attention, our energy, it creates our atmosphere.

When Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman in John 4:24, it was an invitation to abandon her old paradigm with its religious rituals and physical places of worship, and shift her attention to the Spirit, in something He called ‘spirit/truth’!

We discover here that true worship is spiritual, where we open our hearts to heaven. It's transcendent of any earthly place or physical activity. In this ancient and most cherished practice, we become aware of our connectedness to the great I AM. We benefit from a wider and inclusive view of life, we feel the Creator's presence, we gain insights, and from this, love, joy, compassion, thankfulness and peace is felt and expressed in and through us. Worship is found in meditation, prayer, stillness, mindfulness, reading the scriptures, singing, in the arts and making spiritual songs from our hearts.

It's a call to set our hearts and minds on the things above. It occupies our attention, our energy, it creates our atmosphere.
